As a student society, we are a group of dedicated middle eastern dancers,
sharing our knowledge and love of this dance form with each other. At the
moment, our classes run throughout termtime only - there are 3 terms each
lasting 8 weeks, and we hold structured classes for beginners and improvers,
given by the more experienced dancers in our society, and opportunities for
those who have been dancing for longer to meet and share techniques and
choreography. We also host workshops on themes such as different styles of
middle eastern dance, prop work, performance and improvisational skills;
plus social events, performance opportunities for all levels, and a termly
hafla. |
